Can Microsoft office 2007 work for a mac?

im a PC user and i need a laptop for school. but i have ms office 2007 for PC can i install it on a mac? will it work? also will it be difficult to switch from a PC to an Apple?

You can use OpenOffice on the mac --free-- and save documents as microsoft documents if that is what you need.



With the mac you will use cmd + c instead ctrl + c,



cmd + v instead of ctrl + v



Macs did that before windows was invented.

I'm not sure if MS made an Office 2007 for mac, but I heard that there's Office 2008 that's exclusively for Mac.

It is not ms 07 but it is ms 08 and is compatible with the mac. And it is off of the apple site in their downloads area.
