Where can i get a free download of Microsoft Office 2003?

Microsoft doesn't offer a free version of it's Office 2003 suite.

You can find it at Amazon for a wide range or prices.

Don't buy OpenOffice though. It's ran like crap on my friend's computer. It's also rather buggy, and VERY underfeatured than Office.

I found a great alternative for Word : http://writer.live.com/

And PowerPoint : http://thumbstacks.com/

EDIT : Office 2007 is great! Don't just toss it aside because formats won't work. If you want to make files work, just make sure they're not saved with a "x" at the end. Like .docx should be .doc.

Of course, Microsoft's new OOXML format is really better, but older versions of Office aren't supported yet.

Get your school's IT staff (or do it yourself) to put the Office 2007 Compatibility Pack on their computers. This will let their programs on the old version, open up the ones made in Office 07'. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...

Nowhere, at least not legally.

You can get a demo of the latest version of MS Office from http://www.microsoft.com/office/

You can get OpenOffice.org, a compatible and free alternative, from http://www.openoffice.org/

Word 2007 can open Word 2003 documents. It can also save in a format compatible with Word 2003, you just need to pick it from the File Types menu in the Save As dialog rather then using the default.
