I sent an inapproprite email to my manager today. But like a true idiot I forgot to delete the email from his delteted items folder. My manager turned of his computer Friday and will return to work on Monday. Am I in the clear or in trouble?This is for microsoft office window 2000.

It may be set to clear deleted items on exit. People rarely check their deleted folder anyway.

Most likely it will still be there. Unless he has it set to delete them after only a couple days. No way for us to tell though.
you have access to your bosses computer and files? OH that is scary.
You are not in the clear.....since you are at work ---those emails are kept by the IT department for a indefinite basis just in case of a legal dispute or employment concern (which i think this is it).
Your IT department will have a copy saved on their server in your SENT file and in your bosses INBOX.
These saved files are files you can never get to...they are saved even if you delete from the individual computer.
