Read your EULA(End Users License Agreement). It will specify what you want to know. Normally Microsoft office are intended for use on one computer, and one computer alone. Unless you purchase CALs (Client Access License) for more computers. These cost almost as much as a fresh copy of the software.
The problem with using the software on more than one computer is that you can only register Microsoft software so many times and if that limit is reached and your hard drive crashes... guess what, you must buy all over again. Or you could try to sweet talk a costumer service rep to see IF they agree to give you an additional registration code.
