Problem with Spacing in Microsoft Office Word 2007?

Whenever I type with Microsoft Office Word 2007, the spaces in between the sentences are very large. It looks as if I double-spaced everything! How can I format my documents so that there are not such large gaps in-between the lines?

Thank you!

dunno it happens with my Microsoft Word 2003 tooo
Go to Format, then Paragraph, then under Spacing, change it to Single.

You might also have a shortcut key that has up and down arrows and a few lines on it.

If you have any questions with Microsoft, press F1 for the office assistant, and type in the problem (like: spacing) and it'll give you different options.
