Is there any software which is like microsoft office but is compatible with windows 98 ?spyware removal

Open Office is a free package very similar and compatible with Microsoft Office. It runs on Windows 98 too.

All you need to remember to do it save files as MIcrosoft Office files, which is very easy to do, just select it from the drop down menu when you come to save stuff.

System Requirements for OpenOffice.org 2

Microsoft Windows

Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 (Service Pack 2 or higher), Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista (enhanced Vista integration from version 2.2)

128 Mbytes RAM

At least 800 Mbytes available disk space for a default install (including a JRE) via download. After installation and deletion of temporary installation files, OpenOffice.org will use approximately 440 Mbytes disk space.

800 x 600 or higher resolution with at least 256 colours
Windows 98se will run Office 2000, I know that for sure, but I wouldnt know about straightforward Windows 98.
Try Open Office. It will open/create/edit any MS Office file (i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint). It is open-source, meaning it's free, and can be downloaded at http://www.openoffice.org/
MS Office up to 2000 definitely works on 98, as I know people using it.
Office 97
