Is Microsoft being fair?

With the new Internet Explorer 7, Google has said that Microsoft is trying to make MSN Search the deault and only-one search engine that can be added to IE7. Supreme Court has decided that any company has the right to do whatever to its products, so Microsoft was not found guilty.

What do you think?

ok you need to understand that IE 7 is a Microsoft Software not google. So I'd think they can use any goddamn search engine they want on it. The courts are correct in that regard. Google did not spend money and have their developers aid in the development of the IE 7 browser so they should as the court said have no input on what Microsoft wants to do with their product.

The sad thing is that all this whining is hardly necessary. you still have the option on IE 7 to pick your search engine.

Wrong. While MSN will be the default, it will be changable in IE7.
It's obvious that the supreme court isn't going to find Microsoft guilty of very much, the whole idea is that microsoft monopolises everything it does, just look at it's uela, and the fact that it has almost forced computer suppliers to bundle Microsoft windows with their computers and charge the consumer for the privelige, Try to buy a new computer with no operating system.
