You have to turn off the insert!
Press the Insert key to the right of the backspace button.
Yeah, just hitting Insert should solve your problem. I have no idea why it does that.
try pressing the insert button on your keyboard (to the left of your backspace button) hope that works!!
You may have accidentally pressed the %26lt;insert%26gt; key - just to the right of %26lt;backspace%26gt; on most keyboards. Press it again to turn-off overtyping.
press 'insert' (ins)
Are you typing before another section of what you wrote? Because if that's the case, you simply need to click the insert button and the feature will turn off.
Try pressing the Insert key on your keyboard, right next to the Home/End buttons.
Sounds to me like you accidentally hit the "insert" key that is to the right of the "Backspace" key. You need to hit it again and your typing will go back to normal.
Insert button on your keyboard.
Its the Insert Key (Ins) located by the space bar. Dont feel bad, the first time it happened to me I used Office Help. Its free and it can solve most of the Office issues.
