If I buy Microsoft Office 07, do I need to manually delete 03, or will it simply integrate?

I don't want to waste space having both programs, but I am unsure how to remove such large programs either.

I loaded it last night and have both versions. With the size of hard drives, space should not be a problem. Be certain to run cleanup utilities and defragged often. ALWAYS create a restore point prior to loading any programs.

i think it just generally overwrites --- but why bother --- check out open office --- its as good (if not better) than Microsoft Office --- can read all the files and is available free as part of the Open Source movement --- you can also go to Add/Remove programs to delete it ---- have fun
In the control panel, there's a programs and features icon where you can click to uninstall the various programs you have installed, including Microsoft Office, if you have Vista. On an XP OS you still go to the Control Panel, but it'll be named something else, but still pretty obvious that it's for uninstalling or modifying programs. Uninstall from there.
I just installed MS Office two days ago. During the installation you get the choice to upgrade the previously installed version or install the new version along side the older one. There is no reason to do this unless you do technical troubleshooting for people using the different versions, but if you do, make sure you only have one version of Outlook installed or you'll have problems.
