How can I install Microsoft Office 2003 onto my Mac?

Obviously, Macs don't download certain material. Is there a program or something I can use that can help me download a program that I can use to type documents like word? I already have the software from my PC.

Either you'll have to get the Macintosh version of Office. The latest is MS Office 2004. Or you can install Windows on your Mac.

To do this, you must have a recent Mac with an Intel chip inside: Boot Camp allows you to restart your Mac into Windows, and you can install Office 2003 once you have. You can also get Parallells, which allows you to run Windows in a... eh, window (OK, now it gets confusing). Both Boot Camp and Parallells require you to install Windows.

If you have an older Mac (with a Power PC chip), you can still use a PC emulator like Virtual PC to run Windows.

A lot of trouble just to run Office, if you ask me.

Get a mac CD Rom for Microsoft Office 2003 and Install it. No viruses or download treats stay cool
you have to buy the microsoft office: mac version. they sell them in apple stores and apple.com, cost about $200 or more.
First you must have Microsoft Office 2003 Mac Version software, not the window version.

Once you have the Microsoft Office 2003 for the Mac, insert the disc, and it will automatic install on your mac!
lots of people try to get their macs to run as well as PCs. but for about $200 you can get a used PC and run real software.
Apple is now making some computers that can switch between Mac and Windows platforms. And they do make Office for Mac. As for using software for a PC on a Mac, I don't think that works.
Download the NEWEST version of WINE ( an application to run MS software on MACs or Linux) its free. This will allow you to run all but EXCEL
