Download the install and run it again. It will either remove it or repair it so that you can remove it from the add/remove programs.

###### UNINSTALLING OFFICE 2007: ######

**PROBLEM:**

"setup cannot continue because a required file is either corrupted or not available" error upon uninstallation

**SOLUTION:**

Navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Office 12\Office Setup Controller\Proof.en

Inside the folder, edit the xml file in notepad... (right click on it and go Edit)

...find where it says

%26lt;Feature Id="SetupXmlFiles" Cost="1248"%26gt;

%26lt;OptionRef Id="AlwaysInstalled"/%26gt;

%26lt;/Feature%26gt;

and replace "neverinstalled with "Alwaysinstalled" and save.

[That might only work if you previously edited that document though, I can't remember sorry] Hope it works for you.
