I left my computer on overnight and when I shook the mouse the begining screen came on with all the icons on but the microsoft office home and student

Shut the computer down for about 30 seconds then power it up, if that doesn't do it and you have Vista or XP do a system restore to the day before. Leaving a PC (desktop) on overnight is okay . I only turn mine off for a couple of hours once a month. If it's a laptop you should turn it off overnight or if you aren't going to use it or a couple of hours.
