Microsoft office 2003 is preinstalled on my laptop, and it asks me for the 25 letter code. Where do I find this code? Is it the certificate of authenticity for the laptop?

No it's not for the laptop. You can just run it as system administrator.

You should have some paperwork that came with the laptop, Instruction books, etc. It should be included in there. Usually has some kind of hologram on it..
