Is there anywhere I can download an old version of Microsoft Office for free?

My comp. crashed and I reinstalled windows and now I don't have Microsoft office. I don't need 2007 or anything...

I just want to download the 2003 version or something for free

I'm using the 2007 free trial one now, but its SO slow :p

no.. the only way to get office is to buy a copy. If you have friends who want office buy a 'student - teacher' edition which allows for 3 users and split the cost

Let me understand this correctly. You have a brand new computer, and you didn't get any office CD's with it? You need to contact the store where you bought it and demand they provide you with those CD's. If they don't, they totally ripped you off. I would turn them into the BBB and the FTC.
