Word or Powerpoint will do. Do a search for "Template" from the "Help". You will find your answer there....Lot's of great starting points with colorful templates/layouts. There are even more online.

Which version of office do you have?
Microsoft Publisher is probably your best bet as you can use pre-made templates for what you want to do.
