Copyright infringement?

If that were true, no one could ever publish anything written in Word. That would greatly limit Word's marketability.

Even companies that do want money for their fonts charge a flat fee in advance.

In other words, I wouldn't worry about it.

Hope that helps.

I doubt there could be copyright protection for fonts. Don't worry about it. I've never heard of a case.
There can be no infringement of copyright in the use of fonts. It's all down to the name you use, and beware of 'plagiarism', or use of a particular font or design, that may be seen as making capital gain from a design that is recognised. For instance, it wouldn't be a good idea to market cameras or film with a logo or font that bore any resemblance to a recognised company like Kodak or Fuji.

Find something that people will recognise you by and that people will come to know you by In other words; be original!!!

As far as clothing companies go, make sure that you don't use a font that someone else is already using. That can be viewed as plagiarism. It's not only the font that people recognise, but also the style of layout and colour mix. Go out and look at the packaging that top fashion houses use, and then avoid their designs at all costs. Like I said: BE ORIGINAL!!!
