Microsoft Frontpage XP Help?

I just got Microsoft Frontpage XP today, and I need to know how to publish web-pages on it. It says I need a Web-Hosting server, but I don't know what those are. Please Help, I have Netscape, but I'm not sure if it is what I'm looking for, and if it is, how do I set it up to where I can publish web-pages?

I also create websites with frontpage and then use ftpsurfer to upload the files. It is pretty easy. You will need web server or hosting to publish your pages. Servers are expensive.

You need a web host to put your website on the internet check out geocities.yahoo.com they offer free web site hosting and tutorials on how to upload.

You can preview and use your html pages on your computer just by opening up the folder you have your site stored in and opening up your index page.

I am using the fax wizard in Microsoft Word 2003, when I get to the part where I insert the name, I begin to type the name, and it autofills to one already in my list...my problem is that the last name begins with a lowercase letter, I am trying to capitalize it, how can I do that without adding an extra space, or how can I delete the names in the list altogether?

I'm a 17 year old female student and just wondered if you could have a quick look at my work on Microsoft Paint which I've been working with recently. I'm also looking for some suggestions or improvements.

I've only been drawing in Paint for 3 weeks, so they arent anything special, but I used only a mouse and took around 1 hour average per artwork.

you can only make presentations with powerpoint. With the viewer you can only view them.

U can only view powerpoint presentations with ur Microsoft Viewer. In order to make presentations, u need Powerpoint. U can go to www.microsoft.com and download Office 2007 trial version and make a presentation for the time being if ur in a hurry. It will save ur time instead of looking for Office 2003 CD anywhere else (except buying it). The instructions to make presentations are mentioned in a step-by-step procedure on microsoft's office website. Please have a look. Thanks!
install openoffice.org and create your presentation and can view that presentation on a different computer(why do you want to use MS ppt viewer on the same computer when you have open office.org?) using MS ppt viewer.
no you can only VIEW powerpoints on the powerpoint viewer....hence the name
the viewer only allows you to view powerpoint file, you still need powerpoint to create them

Microsoft word 2002-Error 1706 message?

whenever I log on or try to open word 2002, it always reads, "windows is trying to configure microsoft 2002" Then it reads "The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or removable disk that is not available" I click cancel and then an message pops up "Error 1706 setup can not find the required files. This was working just fine a few days ago, not this strange message keeps poping up. How do I fix this and keep this from happening again?

When it come up again, put the installation CD that you loaded from. It will access the files it needs and will stop giving you this error.

If this doesnt work, insert the Office XP cd and run the repair feature. Should correct the problem.

Microsoft Excel - paste without showing hidden rows (keep hidden)?

How do I paste in Microsoft excel and keep hidden rows hidden? I know there's an option only to paste all visiable rows/columns - but this doesn't keep the information in the hidden rows available when you paste. I know there's an option to paste format...but this only helps with hidden columns. Please help??

The only options I can think of end up eliminating the hidden data. It is weird that Excel only give you an option to copy column widths and not row heights, at least in my version (2000.)

If you have time to prepare in advance of the copy/paste, you can set up a blank sheet with all the proper hidden rows and when you paste in, the rows stay hidden. This doesn't help you if your hidden rows change from event to event. It is just changing when you go and hide your rows from after your paste to before your paste.

Can you arrange the data in columns instead of rows, do the paste operation and later select only visible, then copy and paste transpose. This still removes the hidden data, but you can keep the hidden properties in your column arranged section.

A note: I MS Access this can easily be accomplished with Filters, if your hidden data can be segregated by values in the data. Are you trying to put in a screw with a hammer?
